The above graph depicts the total number of registered overseas companies in the register of the Registrar of Companies, as at 31st of December of each year, from 2006 to 2018.

During the reference period, there is an increase in the registrationsof overseas companies with the exception of the year 2016 where a decrease is depicted mainly due to the actions taken by the Registrar of Companies regarding the updating of the register and the striking off of non-active and non-compliant companies. Notwithstanding the above, in 2017 the registrations of overseas companies increased.
