Transferring an EEIG's seat

European Company Interest Grouping (EEIG) with seat in another member-state may transfer its seat to the Republic of Cyprus. Consequently, an EEIG may transfer its activities to the Republic of Cyprus without being dissolved. When such transfer does not involve an alteration of applicable law, the decision for transfer is made according to the terms provided by the contract of formation of the EEIG.

Otherwise, a transfer proposal must be drawn up and published. In this case, the decision for the transfer is made unanimously by the members after at least two (2) months from the publication of the aforementioned transfer proposal.

Follow the step-by-step guide to transfer the seat of an EEIG to the Republic of Cyprus.
