Within two (2) months from the date of publication, any competent authority in the Republic of Cyprus may only for reasons of public interest, oppose to the proposal of the transfer of seat outside the Republic, by submitting to the Registrar of Companies a notice of objection.
The decision to transfer the seat of an EEIG outside the Republic is made unanimously by its members, at least two months after the publication of the said transfer proposal.
Provided that no objection to the transfer of EEIG has been submitted within the two-month period from the publication of the notice, you can file the transfer decision with the companies register of the member-state to which you intend to transfer the seat of your EEIG.
