Registering the transfer proposal
When such transfer does not involve an alteration of applicable law, the decision for transfer is made according to the terms provided by the contract of formation of the EEIG. Otherwise, a transfer proposal must be drawn up and published.
The officers draw up the transfer proposal, which is filed with the Registrar of Companies by submitting form ΕΟΟΣ 4 and is published.
You can submit the notification of documents and details of EEIG (form ΕΟΟΣ 4), by hand/post, accompanied by:
- transfer proposal for of EEIG seat;
- copy of the transfer plan;
- documentation of the publication of the transfer proposal of EEIG’s seat in two newspapers of daily circulation in the Republic of Cyprus.
Provided the Registrar of Companies is satisfied that all legal requirements, depending on the case, have been met, proceeds with the filing of the transfer plan of EEIG’s seat outside the Republic of Cyprus, the publication of the EEIG’s registration to the Official Gazette and informs accordingly the Publications Office of the European Union.
