Updating EEIG's Particulars

Establishment and termination of branch

A European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) may establish one or more branches and terminate its operation.

The EEIG is obliged to notify the establishment or termination of operation of its branch, by submitting form ΕΟΟΣ5, within fifteen (15) or thirty (30) days of the date of establishment or termination, in the case of an EEIG with seat in or outside of the Republic of Cyprus, respectively.

Registering change

You can submit the form of declaration of establishment or termination of operation of an EEIG branch (form ΕΟΟΣ 5), by hand/post, by paying the fee of fifty euro (€50). In case you wish to accelerate the process, an additional fee of twenty euro (€20) is required.

The fees are payable in cash, by cheque, via an account maintained with the Department of Registrar of Companies or via bank transfer.

Provided the Registrar of Companies is satisfied that all legal requirements, depending on the case, have been met, proceeds with the filing of the change, the updating of its register and notifies the Publications Office of the European Union accordingly.

In the event that the EEIG requires proof of the change made in the register, it may request to obtain certified copies of the change.
